This purpose of this contract is to provide an immediate and/or routine response to any unforeseen occurrences at UGU locations. Qualified companies will perform all tasks necessary to return damaged property to its pre-damaged condition as a result of damage caused by fire, water, storm, environmental or by any other act of God.  

For the purposes of this contract, the State recognizes that the Xactimate property claims estimating software to be the industry standard for the State of South Carolina insurance industry, and the calculations for price, materials and labor produced by Xactimate for each response under the contract to be the fair and reasonable cost for the services to be provided.

It is the intent of this contract to include all products and services necessary for complete property restoration after an event. Should there be anything in this scope that unintentionally conflicts with industry standard practices, the UGU will be permitted to determine whether the industry standard shall be applied to the restoration process of their facility.

Various services are required in response to and the assessment of fire damage, water or other related incidents. Services will include, but not be limited to, drying, containment, decontaminations, repair, removal, treatment, transportation, disposal, disinfecting/sanitizing, and/or other impacted properties.
