| Upon activation in times of emergency, the Materials Management Office, as established in the State Emergency Operations Plan operates Emergency Service Function 7, Resource Support. The Mission of ESF-7 is to provide or coordinate the provision of services, equipment and supplies to support expedient operations associated with a disaster or emergency; and for the approval and acquisition of equipment and supplies not available through normal purchasing channels and ordering timeframes. Upon activation, purchase orders may be issued to support emergency operations. Delivery times are critical when conducting emergency operations. The SCEPD will notify contractors at Operating Condition 4 (OPCON 4) – Possibility of Emergency or Disaster Developing. This contract is not limited for use only during support of emergency operations. It is available for use at any time during the contract. |

BARIATRIC COT SPECIFICATIONS Bariatric cot must have folding design approximately 42” x 42” x 7” Cots must have metal or aluminum frame with heavy duty leg locks on all legs. Bariatric cot must have a load capacity of 700 lbs or greater. Must provide a sleeping surface at least 37” wide and at least 83” long with easy out height of approximate 22” which keeps the buttocks above the knees. Mattress must be waterproof Any color acceptable. FOLDABLE COT SPECIFICATIONS Cots, camping, individual, folding, packed with a reusable protective carry cover/case. Any color acceptable Frame shall be three (3) leg style manufactured of aluminum, aluminum alloy, another similar metal or wood; approximate size open 75" long x 26" wide x 16" high (maximum acceptable size 82" long x 32" wide x 18" high, with folded dimensions proportionally the same as described below), folded approximately 8" x 4" x 38". Nylon oxford, heavy cotton duck or similar fabric. Weight approximately 12 pounds each. Cots shall be individually packaged in a sturdy corrugated container, which may or may not be packed in a "master" carton, and either way shall in turn be palletized and shrink wrapped suitable for handling with floor jacks, fork lifts and other similar equipment. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
